With his current program “Eastwood Symphonic”, Kyle Eastwood, the son of actor and director Clint Eastwood has put together a tribute to his father. With a fantastic quintet and a symphonic orchestra behind him, Kyle Eastwood gives new life to the theme music of great Clint Eastwood film classics.
The concerts are a musical expression of the close relationship between father and son, who share the same passion for cinema and music. Under the direction of conductor Gast Waltzin, we become witnesses to a musical experience unlike any other. Nevertheless, Kyle has remained true to his traditional and melodic approach to jazz – and we will soon be able to experience this live!
After the release of his very first album “From There to Here”, Kyle Eastwood spent his time expanding the boundaries of his musical universe. He now flirts successively with cool and refined electro-jazz, a reso-groovy and smooth kind of jazz reminiscent of the sound of the seventies, to the up to artful, chic and urban manifestos. Enriched by this scientific exploration of contemporary globalized pop music, he seems to have found his own way – a return to a more direct, lyrical and melodic kind of jazz.
