About
Kadebostany returns with his fifth album The Outsider, released on January 30th, a deeply personal record shaped by a 20-year artistic journey and an uncompromising obsession with music.
Rather than following trends, Kadebostany focuses on songs built to last. The album is rooted in classic songwriting in its most essential form, closer to folk sensibility than pop convention, while embracing modern electronic and cinematic textures.
True to its title, The Outsider, was created with artists and collaborators from many different countries; real outsiders connected by sensitivity rather than geography. This collective approach feeds the album’s sonic identity, where electronic elements meet organic instrumentation such as modular synthesizers, violins, horns, guitars, and expressive vocals, creating a sound that feels both contemporary and timeless.
Adopted and raised in Switzerland without knowing his origins until his twenties, Kadebostany later discovered his roots in Algeria. Growing up between cultures, languages, and imagined borders shaped a worldview built on distance, curiosity, and independence. This sense of in-between eventually led to the creation of the Republic of Kadebostany, a fictional country designed to question identity, nationality, and belonging, which has gradually become a real and evolving creative space.
The project also comes to life on stage with a new theatrical live show, The Outsider, with a major headline tour starting in February. Recently premiered in Greece across a series of sold-out shows, the production generated immediate reactions, with overwhelmingly enthusiastic and emotional feedback.
The Outsider is an invitation to step outside familiar frames, to listen without borders, and to experience music designed not for the moment, but for what remains after it.
About The Outsider Tour
“The show everyone will be talking about this year”
Kadebostany continues its legacy and opens a new chapter with the launch of The Outsider era, its most ambitious artistic statement to date.
Following a sold-out European tour in early 2025, the Kadebostany Republic returns redefined and amplified: new music, a striking visual identity, a spectacular new live show, and the forthcoming album The Outsider, to be released on January 30th, 2026.
Premiered in December in Greece through five consecutive sold-out shows, The Outsider live experience unveils an entirely new A-team assembled by Guillaume de Kadebostany. The line-up features two new lead singers, guitar, violin, a full horn section, and waves of modular synth assaults, merging organic instrumentation with electronic precision.
Structured in three acts, The Outsider is Kadebostany’s most mature, accomplished, and theatrical show to date; a constantly evolving performance that pushes the boundaries of pop, spectacle, and collective emotion.
Once again, Kadebostany doesn’t follow eras, it creates them.

“[Kadebostanys] discography moves along pop pathways in a deeply intellectual way. (…) He creates a sonic environment that feels unique to the listener —impossible to categorize with precision. This uniqueness is also evident in his shows, which are atmospheric and different each time, not only because he fearlessly experiments with all his major hits, but because every show has something new to say. I truly believe he is one of the most influential producers working today, while at the same time his music is impossible to confuse with anything else. His aura is so distinctive that it would be impossible for his music to be anything less than compelling.”
