About
Marianne Neumann and Rocco Horn found each other because they have a similar view of the world. They share this passion about observing: what moves the world, what destroys us and our nature and what values and what truths are worth preserving?
All these questions and even some answers can be found in their songs. After their Debut Album „Keine Spur“, which gained some attention in the Berlin music scene, their second LP in 2015 „Vor uns Die Sinnflut“ made them a well-known German pop duo. It was in particular due to their song „10.000 Tränen“, a very touching song about animal rights, becoming a „viral hit“ and getting 6 million views on Youtube. Berge’s concerts are truly heartwarming and euphoric events that generate a lot of positivity and connection within the audience. Their lyrics often transport important messages and sometimes even discuss socially critical topics with a sort of lightness, and the songs have the power to make the people feel more connected to themselves.
With their third studio album, which carries the same name as its most successful song „Für die Liebe“, Berge summed up everything they stand for: Love, humanity, hope and motivation for a healthier togetherness. Their efforts to inspire and make the world a little nicer, and above all their melodic poppy songs, earned them fans from all over the world and collaborations in countries such as Russia, USA, Mexico, China, Austria, Switzerland, Kazakhstan and many others.
Their latest release was an Acoustic EP with their favorite Songs from „Für die Liebe“ in a stripped-down version.
At the moment they are already working on new songs in the studio and plan to publish some of the material this year.
